Beach Sandstorm!
Description: Friday night winds increased rapidly to 30-40 mph sustained, smoothing out the surface of the beach and sandblasting anything in sight, including my Oregon Scientific ATC-2K underwater camera, which I placed on the beach. The camera had sand stuck deep into the buttons and holder ring. It was painful sandblasting my legs, trust me. I had only experienced this once before during the gust front of a thunderstorm at the beach in the 1990`s. Turn your sound up for this one and enjoy the whiteout!

The camera is pretty heavy, I partially buried it in the sand and the wind seemed worse than it actually was. -- weathermatrix
