Jump For Joy
Jump For Joy
Description: This is the Kirkwood Terrain Park Crew jumping off of the 1/4 pipe because winter is over at Kirkwood. After receiving 850" of snow this winter, Kirkwood closed today with a base of 350" of snow on top of the mountain. The resort could probably have stayed open until the 4th of July, but major mountain improvements are scheduled for this summer. When it snows 70 in one season, the terrain park staff works extra hard digging out all of the attractions, like the rails, pipes and jumps.
