Kansas State Univ. Tornado Damage
Kansas State Univ. Tornado Damage
Description: The tornado struck Manhattan, Kansas yesterday evening and did damage in the city. There was major damage to a Toyota dealership, hardware store and other businesses. The Miller Ranch and Eureka Drive areas were the hardest hit. Fortunately, no deaths or major injuries even though the tornado struck in darkness due to excellent warnings. Quite of bit of interest across the U.S. because of the damage to the Kansas State University campus. The tornado entered the west central part of the campus and cut a path to the northeast.
