Cool, good thing you weren't on the water. I was on Fire Island and tried to leave as soon as I heard thunder and ending waiting through the storm. That came on out of nowhere extremely fast. -- mmbusch

yes it really came up quick. Arond 5:30PM we left the beach as the sky started to get grey. I have to give props to accuweather mobile on my cell phone. I saw the storms on the radar. I was stil suprised how strong the wind got out there on the east end. -- tdp146
