Why does lightning hit trees in this manner. Would it not just hit the top of the tree, or did it and we just dont know -- mindyscats
It probably did hit the top, but the force of it split the tree at the bottom. It`s been known to split trees in all sorts of crazy ways. -- weathermatrix
