Lightning from October 5 Thunderstorm pic 6
Description: Jesse and I were watching a storm to the south of our region and it looked somewhat ok, but I decided to head west and watch a cell which had just cropped up on radar. Turned out to be a good move. The storm just sat in one location and put down some nice strikes.

This is a good picture, it highlights the season well. Not really.. states that we do get thunderstorms during the fall season, but not as often as in the early summer. Then again it has been really warm this October. Question for someone, this so called Indian summer, when is it really, and is Indain summer are last warm days before it snows. Some peope say that after indian summer is over that their will no longer be warm days. Please explain this Indian Summer thing PLEASE. -- Flood City Weather Team
