AR Wind Farm - Blade and Jesse
AR Wind Farm - Blade and Jesse
Description: Here we were lucky enough to see a blade that had not yet been installed and I am standing next to the end of it. 140 feet long and hauled in from the plant nearby on several tractor trailer flatbeds. Ron, Becky and I toured the Alleghany Ridge Wind Farm this Sunday. It consists of 30 newly-installed wind turbines - and 30 more to come - on top of the Alleghany Mountain ridges southwest of Altoona, PA., owned and operated by GAMESA Energy.
