River flooding in Johnstown PA Woodvale
Description: In locations along the river where there is no wall, the flooding has started. Hannah asks how can we flood? When there is too much rain, the water goes over the banks and floods out the town. In places where there is no wall, flooding happens much earlier. The flood wall project has really saved the city many times. Johnstown is known for its floods, especially 1889, 1936, and 1977.
