Command central for R Factor taken out
Description: Last night about 8 pm the power line to our home took a strike and from what we can gather it hit the wire which can take a hit but alos hit a tree underneath the line. The 4 inch round tree was blown upwards taking out the line.

I know this is not the greatest photo but Ron did as good of a job as he could of documenting power lines downed at night, so I thought it warranted being highlighted. -- weathermatrix
Yea it and it should also be noted that I drove over this wire in the dark, yes it was the hot end. Thankfully for me the fuse tripped and it was dead. To remind people if you see a wire down dont trust it. If it is laying in water more trouble. That juice will travel a long distance A/C can kill. -- johnstownwildfire
why are you even that close to those wires. You stand out and beg the lightning to hit you when you take these pictures, and it is an unknow sure but this is a sure thing live wire and your like right there next to it. -- Roxys
