Oldest American Elm stand damaged by june 8 storm
Description: The following video shows the power of mother nature. Here the oldest stand of American Elms left in the United States have taken a beating by this storm on June 8th 2007.The storm some feel was a tornado but radar it seems indicated strong micro bust of winds, targeting a block or two, and skipping 4 blocks to strike another location. I was about 5 to 10 miles north about 2oo feet higher on Chickoree mountain where I did see some circulation but more so the downward winds.
