Horseshoe Cruve entrance
Horseshoe Cruve entrance
Description: This picture shows various elements that make up the horseshoe cruve. One of the few problems that face this section of track is the steep grade and the horseshoe cruve itself. Trains traveling both up and down the mountain have caused many fires on nearby hills, due to dry conditions and friction from the trains themselves.
