Southern Calfornia Snow
Description: Photo by AccuWeather.com meteorologist Ken Clark, who says:
I was awakened at 6:50 by sleet hitting my window. I went outside and there was a mix of snow, snow pellets and sleet falling. This continued for a good 30 minutes then turned to all snow for a bit. My elevation is 1310 feet above sea level.
I got into the car and went up the road just a little and a moderate snow was falling. The last picture was taken as I was driving -there was no place to pull over-. The elevations was at about 1450 feet. There have been reports all across the Inland Empire this morning of snow falling from Rancho Cucamonga -where I live- to Fontana and San Bernardino and of course the Cajon Pass. I saw a number of cars coming down the I-15 with a couple of inches of snow on top of them.
