Big Snow Drifts And Spring Colors
Big Snow Drifts And Spring Colors
Description: Abundant snowfall in Romania: 40 cm fallen in the last 3 days and about 70 cm entire snow layer in my village. This is biggest snow layer for this zone from January 1985, the hardest that I know. We had 3 strong blizzard between January 24th and February 14th. And also, we had most of the days between blizzards with temperatures with 10-16 Celsius degrees below normal. All of this happened because of huge anticyclone that expanded from Siberia and dominated Europe and because of very active cyclones formed in Mediteranean sea. Note: this cold wave came after a December and a January without winter and snow.
