Curved Cirrus
Description: Some interesting looking cirrus clouds I saw up in the sky yesterday. Notice how they seem to curve in a circular pattern.
Satellite images yesterday showed that some circular bands of clouds from the extreme outer edges of hurricane Irene actually made it over east TN. It`s possible that these could be from some of those outer bands.
